Welcome to the Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) of “FAREEDA” (Al Farasha Al Fareeda Portal LLC) and its affiliates (collectively, “FAREEDA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We operate a platform that connects users seeking home care services with qualified professionals who deliver those services. This Policy describes how we handle the collection, storage, use, processing, and sharing of personal information you provide to us when you visit our website at https://www.fareedacare.com/ or use our mobile app FAREEDA (together, the “Platform”), or when you engage with the products or services we offer via the Platform (collectively, the “Services”). Services provided by professionals through our Platform are referred to as “Professional Services”.

At FAREEDA, safeguarding your personal information and upholding your privacy is a core priority. To deliver the Portals Service and enable access to Professional Services, we must gather and process certain information about you. This Policy details our approach to managing your personal information. Unless defined otherwise here, capitalized terms carry the meanings given in our Terms of Use, available at https://www.fareedacare.com/policy/terms  (“Terms”). We recommend reviewing this Policy alongside the Terms.

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed this Policy, agree to its terms, and consent to the data processing practices outlined herein. See Section 1 for details on how this Policy applies to you.

  1. OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL DETAILS

(a) Scope of This Policy: This Policy covers users who access the Services or utilize Professional Services. References to “you” or “your” mean an end-user of the Platform. Your use of the Platform signifies your agreement to the collection, storage, use, and sharing of your personal information as detailed in this Policy.

(b) Policy Reviews and Changes: We periodically assess and revise this Policy to reflect evolving practices. We urge you to check it regularly. Keeping your personal information accurate and current is crucial, please inform us of any information updates during our interactions.

(c) Links to External Services: Our Platform may contain links to external websites, plugins, applications, or services (“External Services”). Interacting with these may permit third parties to access or share your data. We do not oversee or endorse External Services and bear no responsibility for their data practices. We advise reviewing the privacy policies of any External Services you engage with via our Platform.

In alignment with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45/2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “PDPL”), and considering our operations in Dubai, this Policy incorporates principles such as lawful processing, transparency, and data minimization. (note: we do not sell personal information). We also follow international standards for cross-border data flows to maintain consistency across our global operations.

  1. TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE GATHER

(a) We collect various categories of personal information about you, including but not limited to:

  • Contact Details: Such as home or mailing addresses, geographic location, email addresses, and phone numbers.
  • Identification and Account Information: Including your full name, username or similar identifiers, profile photos, and gender.
  • Marketing and Interaction Data: Like addresses and emails for communications; details from service inquiries, offers, reviews, comments, images, blog or chat discussions; survey and poll responses; preferences for marketing from us or partners; and communication settings. We also retain records of your chats and calls with professionals via the Platform.
  • Technical Information: Encompassing IP addresses, browser details, ISP information, OS specifics, access times, viewed pages, device identifiers, device models, Platform visit frequency, activity logs, clicks, timestamps, location data, and details about devices used to access the Platform.
  • Payment and Transaction Records: Details of Services or Professional Services used, partial credit/debit card info (via processors for tracking), and UPI or similar IDs for payments.
  • Usage Patterns: Insights into your engagement with Services and Professional Services, including Platform activity, booking logs, taps/clicks, interests, session duration, app navigation paths, and page interactions.

(b) We may also compile, utilize, and distribute anonymized or aggregated data (e.g., statistical or demographic insights) for various purposes. Such data, derived from personal information, is not considered personal under law if it cannot identify you. However, if aggregated data is linked with your personal information in a way that could identify you, we treat it as personal information governed by this Policy.

(c) Consequences of Not Providing Information: If we require personal information to meet legal obligations or fulfill our Terms, and you withhold it, we may be unable to deliver the Services (e.g., restricting access). This could lead to Service cancellation or limitations.

  1. METHODS OF COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

We obtain personal information through several channels:

(a) Direct Engagements: You supply information during interactions, such as when you:

  • Register an account or profile;
  • Engage with Services or related activities in connection of our services;
  • Participate in promotions, polls, or surveys;
  • into marketing updates; or
  • Report issues, provide feedback, or contact us about the Platform/Services.

(b) Automated Tools: During Platform visits or Service use, we automatically capture Technical Information on your devices, browsing, and behaviors using cookies, beacons, tags, logs, and similar tech. We may also receive such data if you visit sites/apps using our cookies.

(c) External or Public Sources: We acquire information from third parties, including:

  • Technical data from analytics firms (e.g., Google) and ad networks like Facebook and any Advertising networks;
  • Identification, profile, and contact info from professionals, public records, etc.;
  • Data shared by our affiliated companies.
  1. OUR USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

(a) We process personal information only as permitted by law, primarily to deliver Services, facilitate Professional Services, or meet legal duties. Key uses include:

  • Authenticating your identity, registering you, and setting up your Platform account;
  • Delivering the Services;
  • Supporting Professional Services provision;
  • Analyzing trends to tailor experiences;
  • Enhancing Service features based on your input;
  • Improving support for your inquiries and needs;
  • Monitoring transactions and handling payments;
  • Sending updates on our relationship, Service changes, or relevant news;
  • Communicating about Professional Services progress;
  • Promoting and advertising Services;
  • Fulfilling legal requirements;
  • Managing and securing our operations (e.g., troubleshooting, analytics, testing);
  • Refining business and delivery strategies;
  • Executing contractual commitments;
  • Enforcing Terms; and
  • Addressing legal proceedings or defending claims.

(b) By using Services and creating a Platform account, you authorize us, professionals, partners, and affiliates to reach you via email, calls, or other means to deliver Services, highlight features, and for related aims.

(c) All data you provide (directly or indirectly), including emails or instructions, may be collected, organized, and shared to support Services. Recipients could include professionals, vendors, social platforms, third-party providers (e.g., for storage, analytics, consulting, legal/audit services), and Al Najma Al Fareeda Group entities.

(d) We may disclose data without consent if mandated by law, courts, or authorities, in good faith for Policy/Terms enforcement or legal compliance.

  1. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

(a) Cookies are small data files transferred to your device via your browser (if enabled), allowing recognition and retention of preferences.

(b) We employ cookies to differentiate users, save settings, track ads, and aggregate traffic/interaction data for better experiences. Third-party providers may help analyze visitor behavior, using data solely to improve our operations.

(c) Third-party cookies may appear on Platform pages; we do not control them. Personal correspondence (e.g., emails) or third-party reports on your activities may be filed specifically for you.

  1. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

(a) For purposes in Section 4, we may share information with:

  • Professionals to deliver Professional Services;
  • Internal affiliates within the Al Najma Al Fareeda group;
  • External parties like:
  • Trusted partners and providers for Platform hosting, marketing, operations, payments, content delivery, and Services;
  • Analytics/ad firms using cookies/tech for Platform improvements;
  • Other users with your consent; and
  • Regulators/authorities as legally required.

(b) We mandate third parties to secure your data per law, limiting use to specified purposes under our directives. Per PDPL, we ensure adequate safeguards for any data transfers.

  1. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION RIGHTS

(a) Access and Corrections: You confirm all provided information is accurate and current. We strive to enable access and updates to inaccuracies, subject to laws. Request a copy by emailing info@fareedacare.com . We aim to respond within 7-10 business days.

(b) Marketing Opt-Out: Our marketing emails include opt-out options. It may take up to 10 business days to process. Transactional emails (e.g., account/Service-related) continue.

Under PDPL and CCPA (for eligible US users), you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object, and data portability. Contact us to exercise these.

  1. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION

Send a deletion request to info@fareedacare.com . We process within 7 business days, after which Services access ends. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all Services. Transaction data is retained accordance with applicable law. Opting out of marketing (processed in 10 business days; transactional communications continue)

  1. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

We comply with applicable laws and other laws in respect of storage and transfers of personal data. Data may move to countries outside your location (e.g., via servers/providers). Your submission consents to such handling.

  1. SECURITY MEASURES

We use robust safeguards like encryption, access controls, anonymization, and physical security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and disclosure, and follow standards prescribed by applicable law. You must protect your passwords; notify us immediately of compromises. We are not liable for unauthorized access due to your disclosure.   1. RETENTION OF DATA

Data is kept as needed for purposes, plus a reasonable post-termination period for legal compliance. Anonymized/Aggregated data (Data that are no longer associated with you) may be used indefinitely for research/stats indefinitely without any notice to you.

  1. CORPORATE CHANGES

you are aware that in event of mergers, acquisitions, portion or asset sales, your data might be among an asset.

  1. CONTENT YOU CONTRIBUTE

Posting comments, feedback, images, etc., on the Platform made public by you, will be available to platform visitors and application users. We cannot prevent such information from being used in a manner that is contrary to this Policy, applicable laws, or your personal privacy, and we disclaim all liability (express or implied) in this regard. Further, you agree to comply with all applicable laws in relation to the content uploaded or otherwise shared by you on our Platform. You must comply with laws; You understand and acknowledge that you will be solely responsible for that you bear sole responsibility for violations.

We may update this Policy, posting changes on the Platform or notifying via email. Continued use post-update implies consent, where allowed by law. Review periodically to keep yourself update with the latest information the privacy policy.
